The 120-Day Light Ritual
This ritual combines red light therapy, targeted massage, and topical layering to support hair regrowth and scalp vitality over a full follicular cycle (~3–4 months).
Using the FOREO FAQ™ 301, this routine is structured to gradually increase dermal energy, improve circulation, and amplify treatment efficacy.
- FOREO FAQ™ 301 (Red LED + T-Sonic™ Pulsation Device)
- A targeted topical treatment (e.g. minoxidil, peptides, stem cell serum)
- A journal or tracker to note progress every 4 weeks
- A commitment to consistency
✦ Week 1–4: Foundation Phase
Goal: Calm inflammation, stimulate blood flow, begin cellular activation.
Protocol (4x per week):
- Use FAQ™ 301 on a clean, dry scalp, dividing the scalp into zones (front, sides, crown, nape).
- Treat each zone for 2 minutes using red LED + massage function.
-
Apply topicals.
✦ Week 5–8: Activation Phase
Goal: Enhance energy production, extend anagen phase, introduce topicals.
Protocol (5x per week):
- Continue 2-minute treatments per zone.
- Apply your topical treatment.
- Massage the product in gently for 1–2 minutes post-LED.
- On 1–2 rest days per week, do a full scalp massage without the LED.
Note: You may begin to see reduced shedding or early regrowth in hairline or temples.
✦ Week 9–12: Consolidation Phase
Goal: Strengthen follicle anchoring, improve thickness and scalp elasticity.
Protocol (7x per week):
- Continue 2-minute treatments per zone.
- Apply your topical treatment.
- Massage the product in gently for 1–2 minutes post-LED.
Self-check: Compare crown density or part-line against early photos.
✦ Week 13–16: Renewal Phase
Goal: Reinforce new growth, maintain cycle momentum, prepare for taper.
Protocol (4–5x per week):
- Continue LED + topical combo.
- Introduce scalp tension release once weekly: use the fingerpads to press and pinch the skin.
- Support from the inside: prioritise omega-3s, zinc, and antioxidants.
- Reduce frequency of use to 4x/week by the end of Week 16 to test stability.
Expected Outcomes by Day 120
- Improved hair density and strand diameter
- Reduced inflammatory tenderness or tightness
- Increased hairline fill-in or regrowth in patchy areas
- Enhanced absorption of topical treatments
- Scalp feels more pliable, nourished, and resilient
Regrowth happens beneath the surface long before it’s visible. Trust the biology. Document your journey. And remember—this isn’t just about hair, it’s also about reconditioning the scalp.
