About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of this website and any booking, purchase, or service provided by Shannel Watson. By booking an appointment or using this site, you agree to these terms.
Services offered
Services may include online or in-person Q & A sessions, trichology consultations, reports, protocols, blood test interpretation, and other hair and scalp support services described on this website. Availability, pricing, and inclusions are shown at the point of booking.
Booking and payment
Appointments must be booked in advance through the website booking system. Payment is required to secure your appointment unless the checkout specifies a deposit option. If a deposit is used, the remaining balance is due before the appointment starts. Appointments are booked for a fixed time slot. Late arrival reduces appointment time and does not reduce the fee.
Cancellations and rescheduling
48-hour policy: You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment start time.
Within 48 hours: If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, a £50 charge applies.
No-shows: If you do not attend your appointment this is treated as a late cancellation and the full fee will be charged.
Late arrivals: If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or may need to be forfeited, depending on the schedule.
Online appointments
Online sessions take place via Zoom. You are responsible for a stable connection, suitable lighting, and a camera that can show your hairline and scalp clearly. You will also be guided to upload pictures of your hair and scalp for your client record.
If connection issues prevent completion and the issue is on your side, one reschedule may be offered at our discretion within 7 days.
If the issue is on our side, you will be offered a reschedule or refund as appropriate.You may be asked to provide photos in advance. If photos are not provided, guidance may be more limited.
Your redeemable Q & A credit
Where stated, your Q &A fee is redeemable against a qualifying follow-on service.
- Validity: 12 weeks.One-time use: credit can be used once against one booking only.
- Non-transferable: credit can only be used by the original client.
- No cash value: credit cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
- Not retrospective: credit cannot be applied to bookings made before the Q & A session.
- Qualifying services: All services except for Q & A sessions
Refunds
Services: refundable only in line with the 48-hour policy above.
Digital deliverables (reports, written plans, protocols): once delivered, these are not refundable unless there is an error that cannot reasonably be corrected. If these deliverables were of a wider service plan, neither are refundable.
If we cancel or are unable to deliver your digital product: you will be offered an alternative product or a full refund.
Clinical scope and disclaimers
Shannel Watson provides trichology support and education. This is not a medical diagnosis service and does not replace care from a GP or dermatologist.
If you have severe pain, signs of infection, rapid patchy hair loss, scarring concerns, or urgent symptoms, seek medical assessment.
Results and expectations
Hair and scalp outcomes vary due to biology, adherence, and underlying drivers. No specific results can be guaranteed.
Photography and client-provided images
If you provide photos or video during sessions, you confirm you have the right to share them. If we capture clinical images during an appointment, consent and usage will be explained at the time. Images are used for clinical tracking unless you separately consent to marketing use.
Intellectual property
All website content, protocols, and materials are owned by Shannel Watson unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without written permission.
Liability
We aim to provide accurate, evidence-informed guidance. To the extent permitted by law, Shannel Watson is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the website or services. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under UK law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with an effective date.
