A note from Shannel...
If you’ve landed here, chances are you’ve already spent time trying to make sense of what’s happening to your hair. You may have seen professionals, tried products, or adjusted your routine — and still feel like you’re missing answers.
When I first started working with hair, I was shocked by how often people were sold completely ineffective products. No blood tests. No real diagnosis. Just endless trial and error — while their hair continued to shed, thin, or break. Often, even with blood tests they were still given incorrect information when their results were defined as normal based on not fitting a clinically defined, diseased profile.
Hair loss is not random. It’s biological. It’s hormonal. It’s metabolic. It’s deeply personal. And more often than not, it’s treatable — when you know how.
That’s why I don't guess — I investigate every single consultation is structured like a biological case study:
- What’s your scalp telling us under trichoscopy?
- What’s your blood saying about nutrient availability and inflammation?
- What’s your history — medically, hormonally, emotionally?
Because that’s where the answers are. And that’s how we get results.
I work with people across all textures, genders and backgrounds — from women navigating postpartum shedding or PCOS, to men seeing early thinning, to those recovering from chemotherapy or protective style damage.
What connects the clients I work with is simple: they’re looking for clarity. They’ve moved past generic advice and want a deeper, evidence-based understanding of what’s affecting their hair. They’re ready to take a more informed, structured approach to treatment.
If that’s where you are, I’m here to help.
